The salesman at the Lakeville Bob Johsnon ....Robert D'Hondt is unbelievable regarding service!!!! We had him three years ago with a 2022 Leased Equinox. We just leased a 2025 Equinox with Bob. He is extremely patient, and communicated with us via email just about every day before our appointment. He asked us questions regarding if we wanted AWD , what colors we don't like etc... We have leased many a cars in our life time as a couple, and hands down Bob D'Hondt is superb. He has a lot of finesse and sterling qualities. He goes way above and beyond. I highly recommend him to all my friends. We are looking forward to doing business with again in three years. We are hoping he won't be retired. This man deserves a magnificent raise!! Kudos to Bob D'Hondt. Thank you for making our leasing a car such a pleasurable experience.

Lack of communication misunderstanding about the work that needed to be done. Not all jobs were completed and parts not available and work not completed in a timely manner. The car was in the service department for an entire week. Very difficult to reach the service department, no one answers the phone. This was not a very pleasant experience 😕

Employee at service desk I dealt w/ upon entering and during this visit was rude, not helpful and really needs some training in customer service. I asked to speak to manager at dealership who said it would be looked into and that he would have Service Dept manager call me the next day; that has not happened. We have been customers at this location, and brought customers to you, for my last 4-5 vehicles! On a positive note, Brian the technician who worked on my vehicle was fabulous! He came out and spoke to me and let me know to come right back if needed. Please make sure he gets positive recognition.

I should not even be having a comment. Your Tecs fixed the leaking transmission seal that was found because of fluid on my driveway. My truck had only 300 miles on it. This was the factory fault. The problem was corrected by Bob Johnson. Also they rubbed out passenger side rear quarter panel because of factory paint imperfections. L

The employees at Bob Johnson Chevy Avon are always pleasant and helpful. The only negative I have is that I purchased a 2021 Chevy Trax and, not noticing until months later, the tire rims were mismatched and I have three BLACK rims and one SILVER rim which I am not happy about!

When I bought my truck in October of 24 the outside of the truck wasn't really clean like you would think a 80 thousand dollar truck would be it had a half tank of fuel and the deff tank was empty so I had to go fill that up. When I took it for the first oil change that took 2 1/2 hours my understanding was the deff tank would get filled that's what it said in the paper I got in the mail but when I asked first they said no when I told them what I got in the mail then they said they would do it when I got in my truck the deff was only half full and there was a mess all over the side of the truck where it was spilled and never cleaned off. So needless to say I was not happy. Then I had to add to quarters of oil the next day to bring it up to full. So you can only guess what my thoughts were after that.

My negative portion was related to the warranty pitch. If it had been a part of the intial pricing component, I would have been happier. My budget was for a certain range. Adding a warranty pushed the payment amount outside of what I was comfortable with. Therefore I feel, a loss and anxiousness about the purchase. Perhaps keeping in mind the client's budget and the warranty pitch together would be a good practice.

The service was on June 19th , not June 20th. I will NOT set foot, ever again, on a Bob Johnson location, especially Avon 390. My brakes failed inspection and when I told the service person (male) that I was not going to have them taken care of at Bob Johnson, I believe he took it personally. He then ran a complete electrical diagnosis of the car to find any thing possible that might fail and the report, which included seven items was forwarded to NYS. I believe that the miscellaneous codes (not the brakes) found have little or nothing to do with the safety of my car being driven.

Very quick with the oil change and tire rotation, however- they noted that my tires were low on all 4 tires on inspection. Trouble is - they didn’t bother to put in any air! I guess that I figured that would be part of the tire rotation! You get a D- on that part of the service.

The check engine light on my truck was on for 24 hours but then went out. I asked if I could still bring it in to see if there was something wrong, as I am preparing for a camping trip this weekend and I wanted to be as sure as possible that everything was in working order. It was the worst vehicle buying experience I have ever had.Day1 when the manager lied to me about my trade-in and said my car needed 4 new tires,My husband and I decided not to purchase from him because once caught in a lie it's hard to trust anything they say.My husband and I were walking out and he was yelling wait come back let's talk.we continued to go out the door.He started slamming and banging things.He tried to call me a few times and I ignored his calls.The next day he called using a different number and I answered the phone.He apologized for upsetting us.He said if we wanted to still deal he would give me 19000 for my car.We had a few text back and forth.We decided we wanted the truck.We were going to purchase it threw Chevy.He got my insurance info and info he needed. they called me to go over financial part i ask if I could get life on my loan.I was told no.I told them I would prefer to go threw my credit union. The next day when I was trying to switch my insurance.I told them I wanted to take off my Buick and put on my colorodo.They said you don't have a Buick with us.I said something is very wrong.They checked into it and told me Bob johnson already took the Buick off and put the Chevy on.What that meant was i had no insurance on the car that was sitting in my driveway and I didn't even know.took me most of the day to straighten out that mess.We get to the dealer to sign papers and we realized that we were not given the veterans discount .The manager said he would give us a different one so that we could get our 500 incentive back.He said he would right us a check for it.The sales guy Chris told us we would get a check for 375.00.The incentive was suppose to be for 500.00 No one could explain why the difference.Alot of yelling and disagreeing took place. At one point I said I know we are getting ripped off let's just proceed.Chris raised his voice and said if you think I am ripping you off we just won't do the deal.I said ok and started to gather my things.I told my husband we would call the bank and see where to go from there.Chris came back over and said that's not what I meant.Chris started to go over paperwork with us when he pushed a paper in front of me that said I give them temporary power of attorney.I did not feel comfortable with that and I wouldn't sign it. Chris raised his voice and said why do you have to question everything.He got up and left us sitting there and his manager came over and ask me what was wrong.I said I don't feel comfortable signing that paper.He said don't sign it and ripped it up. He then proceeded to finish paperwork with us.We had another chat with him about the 500.00 military discount.He said he couldn't give us that because we were unable to get a code from the Internet.I told him My husband received the discount before and they must have it on record that is is a veteran.He said I'm giving you 500.Gm rewards.I said if that's true why are we getting a check for 375.00 he couldn't explain.Chris took us out to go over things in the truck it was very short and sweet.finally got to take my truck home. What should have been a awesome day for me and my husband was a nightmare. The next day I realized I didn't get copies of my paperwork.I texted Chris and ask him if I should have. He told me he didn't do my paperwork with me because of the way I treated him.he said his manager did.if I had questions to ask him. I reminded Chris he screamed at me . He said he sold over 200 cars and that was a first for him.I told him that was because they signed what he put in front of them.When I had questions he flipped out. That seems to be what they do when questioned. I told him if he could tell me why I was given a discount of 500.00 that turned into 375 . Would say I'm sorry till the cows came home. Still no one can explain.when I went to pick up my paperwork Chris was cordial but sarcastic.I pray I never have to go back there and I will let everyone know not to. Our first experience of buying from them was great. Now with the new manager I will never return

My experience at Bob Johnson in Avon was great, my issue is with Bob Johnson in Rochester.When I purchased the vehicle I noticed vibrations in the front brakes. I was led to believe they would replace the brakes before purchasing. Apparently this was not done and I was shocked to find out that I also needed front brakes as well as rear , which I expected to replace. As you can imagine I was not pleased, believe I was misled.Will not do business in Rochester again.

had "major" engine work done ($1500) high pressure fuel pump install: a) no interaction with the mechanic (would of been nice to get his opinion on other components that may fail based on his/her knowledge) b) was not asked to see/discuss old parts c) i requested to have another item checked (as long as i was there ) a note was made by desk tech but was not addressed by mechanic (didnt see the note? or ignored) when spending thousands of dollars for GM service you expect some interaction with the mechanics

From the moment I walked into Bob Johnson's '390' Chevy Service Department it was obvious I was going to have a professional experience and I was not disappointed. My Service Writer, Carlie was clear and concise in her questioning about my issue with my vehicle. Carlie scheduled my repair and clearly set my expectations on the estimated cost and service complexation time. I was provided verbal updates as my repair progressed. My Service Tech 'Matt' quickly diagnosed my issue and provided an accurate estimate of the time and labor involved for my repair. The issue I came in for was repaired on time and within cost. Matt also completed what I will call a 'Total Service Call' and informed me of possible issues I should be aware of. I was greeted by the Service Manager 'Shauna' and ask if I was 100% satisfied with the Chevrolet Service Experience. I am 100% satisfied! Thank You John Bair
