It was the worst vehicle buying experience I have ever had.Day1 when the manager lied to me about my trade-in and said my car needed 4 new tires,My husband and I decided not to purchase from him because once caught in a lie it's hard to trust anything they say.My husband and I were walking out and he was yelling wait come back let's talk.we continued to go out the door.He started slamming and banging things.He tried to call me a few times and I ignored his calls.The next day he called using a different number and I answered the phone.He apologized for upsetting us.He said if we wanted to still deal he would give me 19000 for my car.We had a few text back and forth.We decided we wanted the truck.We were going to purchase it threw Chevy.He got my insurance info and info he needed. they called me to go over financial part i ask if I could get life on my loan.I was told no.I told them I would prefer to go threw my credit union. The next day when I was trying to switch my insurance.I told them I wanted to take off my Buick and put on my colorodo.They said you don't have a Buick with us.I said something is very wrong.They checked into it and told me Bob johnson already took the Buick off and put the Chevy on.What that meant was i had no insurance on the car that was sitting in my driveway and I didn't even know.took me most of the day to straighten out that mess.We get to the dealer to sign papers and we realized that we were not given the veterans discount .The manager said he would give us a different one so that we could get our 500 incentive back.He said he would right us a check for it.The sales guy Chris told us we would get a check for 375.00.The incentive was suppose to be for 500.00 No one could explain why the difference.Alot of yelling and disagreeing took place. At one point I said I know we are getting ripped off let's just proceed.Chris raised his voice and said if you think I am ripping you off we just won't do the deal.I said ok and started to gather my things.I told my husband we would call the bank and see where to go from there.Chris came back over and said that's not what I meant.Chris started to go over paperwork with us when he pushed a paper in front of me that said I give them temporary power of attorney.I did not feel comfortable with that and I wouldn't sign it. Chris raised his voice and said why do you have to question everything.He got up and left us sitting there and his manager came over and ask me what was wrong.I said I don't feel comfortable signing that paper.He said don't sign it and ripped it up. He then proceeded to finish paperwork with us.We had another chat with him about the 500.00 military discount.He said he couldn't give us that because we were unable to get a code from the Internet.I told him My husband received the discount before and they must have it on record that is is a veteran.He said I'm giving you 500.Gm rewards.I said if that's true why are we getting a check for 375.00 he couldn't explain.Chris took us out to go over things in the truck it was very short and sweet.finally got to take my truck home. What should have been a awesome day for me and my husband was a nightmare. The next day I realized I didn't get copies of my paperwork.I texted Chris and ask him if I should have. He told me he didn't do my paperwork with me because of the way I treated him.he said his manager did.if I had questions to ask him. I reminded Chris he screamed at me . He said he sold over 200 cars and that was a first for him.I told him that was because they signed what he put in front of them.When I had questions he flipped out. That seems to be what they do when questioned. I told him if he could tell me why I was given a discount of 500.00 that turned into 375 . Would say I'm sorry till the cows came home. Still no one can explain.when I went to pick up my paperwork Chris was cordial but sarcastic.I pray I never have to go back there and I will let everyone know not to. Our first experience of buying from them was great. Now with the new manager I will never return

I needed an inspection and then my backup camera lost it lines. I just love the camera and was lost without it. I explained to the technician that made the appointment and she said we probably just turned it off. They took care of everything and I was out of there in 15 minutes.

had "major" engine work done ($1500) high pressure fuel pump install: a) no interaction with the mechanic (would of been nice to get his opinion on other components that may fail based on his/her knowledge) b) was not asked to see/discuss old parts c) i requested to have another item checked (as long as i was there ) a note was made by desk tech but was not addressed by mechanic (didnt see the note? or ignored) when spending thousands of dollars for GM service you expect some interaction with the mechanics

My experience at Bob Johnson in Avon was great, my issue is with Bob Johnson in Rochester.When I purchased the vehicle I noticed vibrations in the front brakes. I was led to believe they would replace the brakes before purchasing. Apparently this was not done and I was shocked to find out that I also needed front brakes as well as rear , which I expected to replace. As you can imagine I was not pleased, believe I was misled.Will not do business in Rochester again.

From the moment I walked into Bob Johnson's '390' Chevy Service Department it was obvious I was going to have a professional experience and I was not disappointed. My Service Writer, Carlie was clear and concise in her questioning about my issue with my vehicle. Carlie scheduled my repair and clearly set my expectations on the estimated cost and service complexation time. I was provided verbal updates as my repair progressed. My Service Tech 'Matt' quickly diagnosed my issue and provided an accurate estimate of the time and labor involved for my repair. The issue I came in for was repaired on time and within cost. Matt also completed what I will call a 'Total Service Call' and informed me of possible issues I should be aware of. I was greeted by the Service Manager 'Shauna' and ask if I was 100% satisfied with the Chevrolet Service Experience. I am 100% satisfied! Thank You John Bair

Bryan is great to work with sent my cousin in the day I picked up my truck. I feel he communicated well. Two small things though.I had floor liners ordered and found the front ones left in back seat? We went on a couple weeks because my 2nd key was lost.. It seems small even petty but it was a huge purchase for me and didn't leave me with a great feeling about service. Expected to pay amount after rewards were deducted. Service lady didn't tell amount just rang up then amount appeared and I said that's not correct. She said well you should have told us. Had an engine light on when I drove to dealership, but when I turned car off and a tech went to check car for an appointment engine light was off. The desk person told me they did the inspection that I asked for as an extra thing the car needed. They could not fix engine light problem. Was told to stop back if light was back on. Cannot believe that they could not pull up past error codes. I live in Rochester and Avon is a distance for me to drive to. I had to take car to Bob Johnson on 1271 Ridge Road West as the engine light came back on. I did not want to use that dealership but did not want to drive to Avon. I used the Rochester dealership before this year did not care for treatment there. They charge extra if a credit card is used. I hope that they can fix car I do have extended warranty thru Ally. I can say not happy with car as it has 29450 miles on car.

The receptionist was not welcoming nor responsive to questions. I'm not even sure I got the entire service I made the appointment for as she didn't respond. She said she'd get me once the car was done, instead I got a text. Doesn't look like I got my GMC points for the service either. The actual vehicle service appears to be fine, just disappointed with the lack of customer service.

The a/c compressor died on my 2024 Silverado 2500HD with just 15,000 miles on it. I only drive the truck on weekends and sometimes weeknights as I have a work truck it does not see heavy use. The compressor was on back order and I received a lot of indifference about when it would arrive and how long it would take. I spoke with GM and they told me the compressor did ship but the dealership didn't notify me until later. The compressor arrived damaged so they did overnight another new compressor which I was grateful for. They also for the first time offered me a loaner (they had not previously). My state inspection was due at the end of the month and if I were the service manager I might have said, "after all this inconvenience and no a/c in your almost brand new truck for a month in July we'll do your state inspection for free. That did not happen. It is fixed and works well now. I have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership all at a great price with fantastic sales staff. I could not look you in the eye and say I like or would have my vehicles serviced there. I did get the truck inspected elsewhere........

My AC stopped working in my Silverado 2500hd with just 15,000 miles on it. The compressor is on backorder which I understand happens from time to time. I got a ride to the dealership to pick up my truck and the service rep I had been dealing with had left for the day. The young female service rep that was working did not seem to interested in service and could not find my keys. I mentioned that I offered to leave the truck and she just rolled her eyes and when she finally found my keys she said "you're all set". I felt like she was waiting for an apology for making her work. I still have not heard a status on my replacement AC compressor.

We scheduled an online appointment for an oil change and a New York State inspection for the same time, same day. We arrived exactly at our scheduled time at 10 am. All work was completed and the vehicle was ready to go by 10:45am. I have had many appointments at many other dealerships but this was the first time I experienced such quick and efficient service. I have purchased several vehicles here , and most recently , a 2025 Trax last October and a 2026 Colorado Trail Boss a few weeks ago . I called Bryan Small, based on my previous experience with him and he had the blue truck I was interested in ready to show me when I arrived at the dealership . He showed me other options , explained features, we did a test drive , and this was the perfect truck . I was very pleased with the trade - in amount offered on my 2019 Silverado , and Bryan completed the Family First GM discount process . Bryan was very professional and efficient, the paperwork went smoothly, he explained all the displays , connected OnStar , assisted with adjusting seats , mirrors and answered questions. I arranged to have running boards installed at this service department, which happened within days , and are a nice addition. I highly recommend this dealership and Bryan, in particular, as I have been extremely satisfied while doing business here.

It was a mix up of communication. One service rep said they would have to order the part and it wouldn't be in until Monday. A few minutes later another service rep is telling me the job is complete. My daughter who lives in CA wanted to speak to the technician before the job was started and OK the payment. Instead she got to talk to the second service rep after the fact. She was not happy. I am satisfied that the work was done in a timely fashion but with the lack of communication of your service reps.
