All of my interactions with Bob Johnson Avon have always been good experience's whether sales or service last Monday I had my truck serviced and I asked them if they could change my plates and reprogram my door locks while I waited I was in and out in 35 minutes outstanding!! The service manager was my service advisor very polite and professional very satisfied customer

1st time visitor for an oil change, tire rotation and a request to check out rattle on my car. Notified me there was a bulletin on my car to repair as needed. They had one and fixed it during the oil change with no charge or question. I was out of there within an hour for everything.

The check engine light on my truck was on for 24 hours but then went out. I asked if I could still bring it in to see if there was something wrong, as I am preparing for a camping trip this weekend and I wanted to be as sure as possible that everything was in working order. The Service Dept was very helpful and did find a small issue which they took care of in a short matter of time. I never have any issues with Bob Johnson Chevy in Avon. Thank you.

It was the worst vehicle buying experience I have ever had.Day1 when the manager lied to me about my trade-in and said my car needed 4 new tires,My husband and I decided not to purchase from him because once caught in a lie it's hard to trust anything they say.My husband and I were walking out and he was yelling wait come back let's talk.we continued to go out the door.He started slamming and banging things.He tried to call me a few times and I ignored his calls.The next day he called using a different number and I answered the phone.He apologized for upsetting us.He said if we wanted to still deal he would give me 19000 for my car.We had a few text back and forth.We decided we wanted the truck.We were going to purchase it threw Chevy.He got my insurance info and info he needed. they called me to go over financial part i ask if I could get life on my loan.I was told no.I told them I would prefer to go threw my credit union. The next day when I was trying to switch my insurance.I told them I wanted to take off my Buick and put on my colorodo.They said you don't have a Buick with us.I said something is very wrong.They checked into it and told me Bob johnson already took the Buick off and put the Chevy on.What that meant was i had no insurance on the car that was sitting in my driveway and I didn't even know.took me most of the day to straighten out that mess.We get to the dealer to sign papers and we realized that we were not given the veterans discount .The manager said he would give us a different one so that we could get our 500 incentive back.He said he would right us a check for it.The sales guy Chris told us we would get a check for 375.00.The incentive was suppose to be for 500.00 No one could explain why the difference.Alot of yelling and disagreeing took place. At one point I said I know we are getting ripped off let's just proceed.Chris raised his voice and said if you think I am ripping you off we just won't do the deal.I said ok and started to gather my things.I told my husband we would call the bank and see where to go from there.Chris came back over and said that's not what I meant.Chris started to go over paperwork with us when he pushed a paper in front of me that said I give them temporary power of attorney.I did not feel comfortable with that and I wouldn't sign it. Chris raised his voice and said why do you have to question everything.He got up and left us sitting there and his manager came over and ask me what was wrong.I said I don't feel comfortable signing that paper.He said don't sign it and ripped it up. He then proceeded to finish paperwork with us.We had another chat with him about the 500.00 military discount.He said he couldn't give us that because we were unable to get a code from the Internet.I told him My husband received the discount before and they must have it on record that is is a veteran.He said I'm giving you 500.Gm rewards.I said if that's true why are we getting a check for 375.00 he couldn't explain.Chris took us out to go over things in the truck it was very short and sweet.finally got to take my truck home. What should have been a awesome day for me and my husband was a nightmare. The next day I realized I didn't get copies of my paperwork.I texted Chris and ask him if I should have. He told me he didn't do my paperwork with me because of the way I treated him.he said his manager did.if I had questions to ask him. I reminded Chris he screamed at me . He said he sold over 200 cars and that was a first for him.I told him that was because they signed what he put in front of them.When I had questions he flipped out. That seems to be what they do when questioned. I told him if he could tell me why I was given a discount of 500.00 that turned into 375 . Would say I'm sorry till the cows came home. Still no one can explain.when I went to pick up my paperwork Chris was cordial but sarcastic.I pray I never have to go back there and I will let everyone know not to. Our first experience of buying from them was great. Now with the new manager I will never return

My experience at Bob Johnson in Avon was great, my issue is with Bob Johnson in Rochester.When I purchased the vehicle I noticed vibrations in the front brakes. I was led to believe they would replace the brakes before purchasing. Apparently this was not done and I was shocked to find out that I also needed front brakes as well as rear , which I expected to replace. As you can imagine I was not pleased, believe I was misled.Will not do business in Rochester again.

had "major" engine work done ($1500) high pressure fuel pump install: a) no interaction with the mechanic (would of been nice to get his opinion on other components that may fail based on his/her knowledge) b) was not asked to see/discuss old parts c) i requested to have another item checked (as long as i was there ) a note was made by desk tech but was not addressed by mechanic (didnt see the note? or ignored) when spending thousands of dollars for GM service you expect some interaction with the mechanics

From the moment I walked into Bob Johnson's '390' Chevy Service Department it was obvious I was going to have a professional experience and I was not disappointed. My Service Writer, Carlie was clear and concise in her questioning about my issue with my vehicle. Carlie scheduled my repair and clearly set my expectations on the estimated cost and service complexation time. I was provided verbal updates as my repair progressed. My Service Tech 'Matt' quickly diagnosed my issue and provided an accurate estimate of the time and labor involved for my repair. The issue I came in for was repaired on time and within cost. Matt also completed what I will call a 'Total Service Call' and informed me of possible issues I should be aware of. I was greeted by the Service Manager 'Shauna' and ask if I was 100% satisfied with the Chevrolet Service Experience. I am 100% satisfied! Thank You John Bair

My AC stopped working in my Silverado 2500hd with just 15,000 miles on it. The compressor is on backorder which I understand happens from time to time. I got a ride to the dealership to pick up my truck and the service rep I had been dealing with had left for the day. The young female service rep that was working did not seem to interested in service and could not find my keys. I mentioned that I offered to leave the truck and she just rolled her eyes and when she finally found my keys she said "you're all set". I felt like she was waiting for an apology for making her work. I still have not heard a status on my replacement AC compressor.

Vehicle was in for state inspection, that was fine. Also the "check engine" light was on. I was told a part was ordered (a sensor) I have no idea for what. The investigation and what sensor or problem was found is mentioned no were on the paperwork.

The receptionist was not welcoming nor responsive to questions. I'm not even sure I got the entire service I made the appointment for as she didn't respond. She said she'd get me once the car was done, instead I got a text. Doesn't look like I got my GMC points for the service either. The actual vehicle service appears to be fine, just disappointed with the lack of customer service.

Had an engine light on when I drove to dealership, but when I turned car off and a tech went to check car for an appointment engine light was off. The desk person told me they did the inspection that I asked for as an extra thing the car needed. They could not fix engine light problem. Was told to stop back if light was back on. Cannot believe that they could not pull up past error codes. I live in Rochester and Avon is a distance for me to drive to. I had to take car to Bob Johnson on 1271 Ridge Road West as the engine light came back on. I did not want to use that dealership but did not want to drive to Avon. I used the Rochester dealership before this year did not care for treatment there. They charge extra if a credit card is used. I hope that they can fix car I do have extended warranty thru Ally. I can say not happy with car as it has 29450 miles on car.

Everyone here made this experience great. Shelly found the vehicle I wanted in a timely manner and when there was an issue with the computers, all team members came up with a solution so I could still have my new vehicle. Fortunately it didn't come to that as the computers issue resolved. All were super friendly and outlined everything for me while taking time to be transparent and answering all questions.
